Why connect to MWS?
To pull in your product and total sales data to Flywheel, as well as unlock the all feature sets, MWS connection is required. This will give you access to Product Metrics, allow you to view TACoS and profitability metrics, and analyze your overall Amazon business.
How do you connect MWS?
If you are the primary user (Account Owner) of your seller account, please connect MWS directly in-app, through the red banner on the Flywheel home screen.
Not the Account Owner?
If you are not the Account Owner, you will need to manually retrieve the "MWS Auth Token" from the owner. Share these instructions with the account owner to get started.
How to retrieve an MWS token
Step 1: Log into your Amazon Seller account
Step 2: Click on
Settings in the top right corner
Step 3: Select "User Permissions"
Step 4: Scroll down to the section that says "Third party developer and apps" and click

This will generate a very long token:
Step 8: Copy the MWS Authentication Token and share it with your account manager. If you do not have an account manager, contact our Support team. You may be asked to provide the Seller ID, if you have multiple storefronts.
